My vacation is officially over. I had a class reunion in Salem, Virginia on Saturday night. It was nice catching up, but it was also strange because it seemed like I was meeting some of the people for the first time.
My husband picked me up at the Sanford Airport and we joined my son and his girlfriend for dinner before heading home. David handled most of the work while I was gone, but I couldn't resist responding to a few inquiries after the first few days.
So I'm back and ready to get to work. We had a lot of inquiries from our lynnbyrne.com real estate site in the past few weeks including several from Canada and Europe. Our commitment is to always provide registration free search, respond quickly to requests for information and make the home buying and selling process as hassle free as possible. It's working. People like it and have rewarded us with increasing sales for the past four years and this year will be the best year since the bubble burst.
I'm glad to be back.

I Just Love Houses
I love houses. I love going and checking out new homes on the market and I love selling houses. When I look at Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and Port Orange homes for sale, I'm just amazed at what's available for the price.
We've been living in the area since 1995 and I've seen a lot of homes built in that time. Before the real estate bubble popped, new homes were popping up everywhere. That's not the case now. There are lots of houses and condos available in all price ranges and styles.
I really thought about getting out of the business of selling houses in 2007. In the end, I decided to stay in. I had worked so hard to learn the real estate business and the area. I wasn't ready to give up - because I love houses.
I'm in Virginia right now for a class reunion. It's amazing how different the home styles are here than in Florida. I love the Florida lifestyle, but it's really nice here in southwest Virginia. I'll be back early next week to catch up a bit and give my son a break (he's taking care of business while I'm gone).
We hope to be heading to the Keys in November. I look forward to seeing some of the houses I love there. I think a trip to the Hemingway house will be in order.
